I remember seeing the movie years ago and thinking, "Gah, how can a guy with a concussion come up with a one liner like that on the spot?" I can only assume that Knoxville had it ready to go before he ever set foot in that sporting goods store.
The line was probably written. I really should have wormed my way into writing quips for people who are killing themselves for our entertainment.
I actually didn't know that was part of the movie.
