Movie Review: Avatar

Like the best video game backstory animation sequence ever about sixty percent of the movie, and really awesome for the other forty percent.

Also it's like a giant commercial for DMT.

I got the venue I wanted

I am now the NY Burger Examiner.

Merry Christmas!!

South Butt

Jesus Christ, I hope The North Face loses this lawsuit.

Also, if I had come up with The South Butt in 1995, I wouldn't be sitting here typing this bullshit. I'd be on a yacht in Greece. My yacht. Paid for with South Butt money. (You see, in the Northwest, fleece isn't casual wear. It's irredeemably conspicuous consumption. And this was especially how grungy teenagers in the mid-90's saw it. Simpler times.)

[The Satyricon offers a decent legal explanation.]

Tiger Woods Humor, circa 1998ish

Anyone remember this?

Earl Woods SNL - Watch more Videos at Vodpod.

In addition to giving the psychology behind his infidelity a little more perspective, it also sort of proves that SNL really does suck more now.

Twats

Because of my Queens and Staten Island eating tour, I've unlocked my twitter page (on the right) and I might even begin twatting more than once a month.

I'm Bringing Pickleback

Now that I know that the pickleback exists, you know what's next. Who has some brine for me?

This could be an excellent Santacon drink . . . .

Old Man Tries to Redeem Himself, Hopes an Unrelated Accident Buys Him More Time

The Blazers stopped a 3-game losing streak yesterday with standard Roy heroics, but lost Oden for the rest of the year (again), just after losing their coach to a practice scrimmage ACL tear.

Before the game, the rumor was that Andre Miller is on the block, even though he can't be traded until the 15th. Then he went and scored 24 points. With Oden's injury in the same game, the Blazers might now treat Miller like a bad girlfriend who happened to be around when they found out that their dad died. Easier to hold on to than get rid of. Not their biggest problem anymore. And showing unrealistic potential for helping them get through this thing.

But they should still look to trade Miller. Saturday was lucky. Miller has otherwise looked like shit this season. He can no longer run or jump and his go-to offensive move is a slow charge where he loses the ball off of his knee. I hope somebody wants him, because he looks very ready for the broadcast booth.
